Covers and dust jackets
Foil colors
Foil for covers and dust jackets, in regular and holographic colors. We raise the design in UV, then lay the foil over that UV. It is a camera-aligned liquid UV foil process. The photos below are the swatch fan those colors come from.

Where foil goes
We don't offer foil on book edges at this time, but we're always expanding!
About foil variance: Our foil is applied with a camera-aligned, liquid UV process, so pieces are not always identical. Small variances are not misprints. Fine details, thin lines, very small text, and large flooded areas vary the most. If your foil file concerns us, we will let you know before we print.
Edges are printed in solid color, pattern, or solo art.
Book foil pricing
One foil is included in book pricing. Each extra foil color is +$1.50 per book plus $10 per run. No foil is $1.50 off per book.
This note is for paperback books. Comic covers are quoted by email, and the book prices above do not apply to them.
Our current turnaround is 2 to 3 weeks once we have print-ready files, and your approved physical proof if you ordered one. As a small shop, this can vary: during convention season or when we have larger orders in the queue, it may take longer, and other times orders may be finished sooner.
